Twilio Media Streams bridges a live phone call to a realtime voice model over WebSocket; a warm transfer adds a second leg (your cell) to the same conference. Claude plans the conversation, calls tools (your calendar, contacts, vault, payment limits), and enforces guardrails. OpenClaw on mobile is the "give it a task anywhere" front door.
The honest guardrails
AI self-disclosure. Always states it's an AI calling on your behalf β no impersonating a human (FCC treats AI voices as artificial/prerecorded under the TCPA).
2-party consent. Asks before recording; respects all-party-consent states (CA, FL, PA, WAβ¦).
PCI by avoidance. Relay never captures card data β the user reads it on a held line β so no cardholder data ever enters scope.
Stays in limits. Won't spend money or commit beyond limits you set β pauses for your OK.
